Our readers asked us to do an analytics podcast. Despite both Ben and I being fairly skeptical, we listened.

Here’s our first effort, discussing Chelsea v. ManU, Real Madrid’s start to the season, what we like and don’t like from the first two weeks, transfer news from around the league, and finally some short previews of the big matches last weekend.

We’ll run this as a trial for 3-4 weeks and see what everyone thinks and then make a decision on the long-term. If you like it, tell us and your friends.

Thanks!

Good site. Good pod. I live in Ukraine and learned English. And it’s terrific for me because now I am able to listen to the staff like this:4Eki: . As a huge hockey fun I am acquainted with such kind of approach in analytics. It’s pretty interesting to see these things in football. I have read some articles here, so I am really impressed. Thanks guys!

Great show, hope it continues.Love the site too. Agree Neville’s analysis is excellent and way above anything on MOTD or ITV.
Ever watched the analysis of Eamon Dunphy/ John Giles on RTE though? (Irish National TV Channel…some terrific stuff there and well worth checking out on uTube)
