StatsBomb Data Launch - Finding Better Goalkeepers

Embedded below is the second of our presentations from the StatsBomb Data Launch event. The presentation is given by data scientist Derrick Yam and is called Beyond Save Percentage, to pair with my presentation called Beyond xG.

However, Derrick's ambition here is actually much greater. He asks:

• Can we use the new information in StatsBomb Data to help find the best GK in the world?
• At the same time, can we start to find up and coming GK to keep an eye on?
• Can we help quantify GK value through data?
• and Can we build a better framework for data analysis of GK to help do all of this?
