Napoli Femminile has announced a new partnership with the multi-sport data company StatsBomb, which will serve as the team's exclusive analytics provider.
The agreement will see the Italian Serie A side capitalise on StatsBomb's offer of free access to its IQ platform for teams competing in the top women's leagues. The club will have access to cutting-edge analytics and data from the domestic league to support its opposition analysis and scouting operations.
The IQ access will also enable Napoli Femminile to evaluate key aspects of performance, including set-piece design, positioning, passing networks, pressures and more. The addition of Statsbomb's analytics platform will also strengthen the club's ability to uncover detailed insights that might be missing from match videos and other data sets.
Speaking about the partnership, Laura Brambilla, Match Analyst, Napoli Femminile, said:
"In an increasingly advanced and specialized world of football, having software like the one that StatsBomb has proposed to us represents an added value.
The software allows you to analyse the data of individual players, of your own team as well as that of the opponent, providing the technical staff with a tool for further analysis and verification of performance."
