StatsBomb has renewed a deal to provide its advanced performance data and analytical services to Seattle Sounders FC.
The agreement sees the MLS team continue to implement StatsBomb's cutting-edge data and analytics platform, StatsBomb IQ across key club departments. Featuring thousands of match events across 100+ global competitions, StatsBomb IQ can be used to aid squad recruitment, performance analysis and more.
Additionally, the deal allows Seattle to continue to take advantage of unique StatsBomb metrics, such as On-Ball Value (OBV). The Sounders will be able to analyse the value of every action on the pitch to better understand which players are adding value to the team.
