The LA Galaxy, the first and only team to win five MLS Cup trophies, has become the latest elite soccer club to sign up for StatsBomb’s cutting-edge data and analytical services.
The Galaxy has signed up for access to StatsBomb’s performance data, which contains over 3,400 events per match across 100+ competitions worldwide. StatsBomb Data delivers detailed insights and the most accurate Expected Goals (xG) model in the industry. The world-renowned soccer club will be able to integrate this data into its existing performance, recruitment, and opposition analysis departments.
As part of the agreement, the LA Galaxy will gain access to StatsBomb’s innovative IQ platform, which will enable the team to examine advanced metrics and run extensive performance analysis. The club’s recruitment department will also be able to compare similar players and teams across 90+ competitions worldwide.
