StatsBomb and Canada Soccer have entered into a service agreement which will see Canada Soccer utilise StatsBomb’s Data and analytics services ahead of its Men’s National Team’s appearance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
StatsBomb's contextual event data will enable Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team to generate detailed insights from thousands of match events across hundreds of competitions worldwide. The StatsBomb platform features unique metrics, including Player Positioning On Shots, Pass Height, Pressures by Team and Player and Shot Impact Height.
As part of the agreement, Canada Soccer will also leverage the benefits of the StatsBomb IQ platform, enhancing the technical teams’ ability to visualise pre-game insights and post-match analysis.
