Statsbomb Named Analytical Services Provider For Fantasy Football Scout

StatsBomb has signed a deal to provide its market-leading analytical services to Fantasy Football Scout, a multi-platform digital media company. As part of this partnership, StatsBomb will supply data for Fantasy Football Scout’s media content, enhancing their offerings with top-tier analytics.

As part of the agreement, Fantasy Football Scout will gain access to the unparalleled granularity of StatsBomb’s event data, including the most precise Expected Goals (xG) model in the industry. This will allow the company to derive deeper insights and analyse performances with greater depth and accuracy.

Furthermore, Fantasy Football Scout will provide their customers with advanced metrics and key visual elements from the StatsBomb IQ platform. This access will enable the creation of detailed tables, empowering readers to compare players across dozens of performance metrics and insights.

Speaking about the announcement, Alex Taylor, Soccer Sales Manager at StatsBomb said:

We are thrilled to partner with Fantasy Football Scout in a collaboration that has been in development for the past few years. This partnership will enhance Fantasy Football Scout's ability to deliver insightful and engaging content to their audience by leveraging our industry-leading metrics and analysis, including advanced models such as Expected Goals (xG).

Chris James, CEO of Fantasy Football Scout, added:

We’re dedicated to providing fantasy football managers with the very best tools, data, and analysis to support their game (and enjoyment of it) - and adding StatsBomb data is the next natural step.

In 2024-25 we’ll be working with StatsBomb to bring the best xG model in the business, plus a host of other insightful metrics and visualisations (from defensive pressing data to shot ‘freeze frames’), to our premium members area and articles.
