At StatsBomb, we cover over 100+ competitions around the world on our industry-leading event data. We produced a report on the 2022 J1 League season to look at the key players, teams and trends in one of Asia's primary leagues.
We first look at the expected goals performance of teams and players within the league, before analysing which players were the most active pressers out of possession and where each team looked to apply pressure to their opposition. We also looked into the most dangerous ball progressors in the league in terms of both passing and dribbling.
