StatsBomb, the leading multi-sport data provider, has signed an agreement with the Mamelodi Sundowns, one of the most successful teams in South Africa.
The fifteen-time domestic league champions will have access to StatsBomb’s cutting-edge analytics and models -- the most detailed and accurate available -- with which to make data-driven decisions across key areas. The partnership sees Sundowns become the latest side to join the 150+ clubs and federations already in StatsBomb’s customer base.
The South African team will also benefit from access to the insights platform StatsBomb IQ, strengthening the club’s ability to anaylse individual player performances, evaluate upcoming opposition teams and identify potential new signings.
