Carolina Ascent will compete in the the USL Super League; a professional women's soccer league due to kick off in August 2024 in the United States.
The agreement sees Carolina Ascent capitalise on StatsBomb's offer of free access to its powerful IQ analytics platform for teams competing in the top women's leagues. The American side will gain access to cutting-edge analytics and data from its domestic league, in order to support opposition analysis and scouting operations.
Access to IQ will enable the club to evaluate key aspects of performance, including set-piece design, positioning, passing networks, pressures and more. The addition of Statsbomb's analytics platform will strengthen the staff’s ability to uncover detailed insights that might be missing from match videos and other data sets.
