Wolverhampton Wanderers FC has agreed to extend its partnership with StatsBomb until the end of the 2025 campaign. The renewed agreement sees the West Midlands side continue to use StatsBomb’s advanced performance data and IQ platform as well adding Live and 360 to its package.
The live data will enable Wolves to get actionable information in real-time and create customisable visualisations to analyse the metrics that matter most to the club. The valuable data will provide quick feedback on players' performances and extract essential insights from live events, empowering the manager and coaching staff to make data-driven, in-match adjustments and optimise team strategies on the fly.
The 360 Data will empower the club to enhance its team, opposition, and performance analysis capabilities, by incorporating metrics such as Line-Breaking Passes and Ball Receipts in Space into its workflows. Additionally, access to the 360 Data will facilitate the club's ongoing ability to visualise crucial match actions through the assistance of the 360 Freeze Frame Viewer.
Speaking about the renewed partnership, Mathew Pearson, Head of Performance Insights and Data Strategy, Wolverhampton Wanderers, said:
