Ted Knutson

CEO and Co-founder of StatsBomb Ted worked as Head of Player Analytics for Brentford and Midtjylland, and has consulted for multiple Champions League football clubs. His areas of expertise include recruitment, data visualization, and set piece design. A founder of StatsBomb.com, he has also appeared on Sky, been published by The Guardian and Daily Mirror, and is often consulted as an expert in the application of stats and analytics to football. When he is not working on football, Ted is usually playing football with his son or cooking for the family.

Ravi Ramineni

Ravi is the Co-founder and CEO of src | ftbl, which is a football consulting and analytics company. Previously, Ravi founded the analytics department at the Seattle Sounders. As VP of Analytics, he helped install a data-driven culture at the most successful MLS club of the past decade, winning two MLS Cups and the Concacaf Champions League. He developed his passion for the game growing up in India, where he studied engineering and mathematics at BITS, Pilani. After completing a Master’s degree in computer science at Clemson University, Ravi worked for more than seven years at Microsoft.

Sam Goldberg

Sam Goldberg is the Manager for Data Science & Analytics at the New York Red Bulls. He leads the Data Science & Analytics Department's strategic initiatives and long-term planning, while working with key stakeholders to incorporate an evidence-based framework into daily decision making. Additionally, Sam takes up a project manager role with Red Bull Soccer, where he works on the long-term research & development strategy to enhance the analytics capabilities of the Red Bull family of clubs.

Karun Singh

Karun joined Arsenal as a Data Scientist in 2022 having previously worked in machine learning roles at Grammarly and Facebook. Before joining Arsenal, Karun contributed to the football analytics space as an independent researcher. He helped develop and popularize the usage of Expected Threat in the public domain, and presented work on accelerating video analysis using tracking data at several conferences.

Luke Bornn

Luke Bornn is Chief Scientist and Co-Founder of Zelus Analytics, a sports analytics company providing a world-leading sports intelligence platform for professional sports teams in their exclusive partner network. Dr. Bornn is recognized as a world leader in sports analytics, having published dozens of peer-reviewed academic articles across multiple sports. His work has received numerous accolades, including six straight MIT Sloan research award finalist selections.

Charlotte Randall

Charlotte is the COO and Co-Founder of StatsBomb. She has extensive experience in Project Management, Marketing, UX, Sales, Product Development & Business Finance and has worked in organisations ranging from start-up to multi-national. Charlotte has managed the product development of new apps & analytics platforms in Education Technology, new global e-commerce platforms in Retail and hundreds of UX improvement projects.

Koen Vossen

Clubs and analytics enthusiasts rarely work together, club staff locked behind closed doors. But there is one project leading the way to bridge the gap - Kloppy from PySport set up by Koen in 2019. His years of experience in software development and his passion for learning from each other have ensured that the Kloppy package now serves as a building block for many clubs. Koen is not only the founder of PySport, but also the CTO of TeamTV, which provides all-in-one video solutions for sports clubs. Additionally, he serves as a member of the PyData Eindhoven committee.

Tom Gardner

Tom leads FIFA's Football Performance Insights as the Head, overseeing a diverse team of analysts, engineers, and scientists. With 18 months at FIFA, he's excelled in providing analysis and insights for fans, media, and member associations in both Men's and Women's FIFA World Cups. His journey began as a Performance Analyst at Southampton FC's Academy, followed by leadership roles at Everton FC's Academy and eventually as Head of Performance Analysis at Everton in December 2020.

Alison Lukan

Alison Lukan is an on-air analyst for the Seattle Kraken who specializes in data-driven storytelling in the world of hockey. Alison has covered the sport for over a decade exploring everything from performance to tactics and leadership from an analytics perspective. Prior to covering hockey exclusively, she worked as a consultant in the areas of strategic management, effective communications, and knowledge management.

Ana de Souza

Ana is a Football Data Analytics & Technology Consultant. She started her career at Concacaf working with the women’s football and referee departments. In 2022, she began her role with the Jamaican Women’s National Team where she supported the team during qualifying and the World Cup.

René Marić

René Marić is one of the youngest assistant managers in the history of Bundesliga and Premier League. He started coaching on amateur level in 2010 with 17 years old while studying Psychology and working various consultancy jobs through the online platform Spielverlagerung. As an early tactical analysis and data literacy advocate for coaches who even consulted StatsBomb ten years ago.

Laura Brambilla

Laura, a seasoned match analyst, brings five years of experience in women's football. She holds degrees in Economy, Sport Science, UEFA B Licence, and F.I.G.C. Match Analyst Licence, with a background at A.C. Milan, F.C. Juventus, and Napoli Femminile.
