Urawa Red Diamonds has agreed a single-year deal with StatsBomb to use its contextual event data and analytics platform.
The partnership sees Urawa Reds become the first J1 League side to utilise StatsBomb's analytical services and will be used to strengthen the club's opposition, player and team performance workflows. As part of the deal, the Japanese side will have access to the analytical insights platform, StatsBomb IQ, including the IQ Tactics and IQ Scout tools.
The Saitama-based club will be able to quickly compare players across 100+ competitions and use customisable templates to craft personalised scouting shortlists. The club will also be able to analyse patterns and playing styles in its opponents' play via IQ Tactics.
Urawa Reds will be joining 100+ professional teams worldwide in using StatsBomb's contextual event data to enhance the work of the club's coaches, scouts and analysts. StatBomb's data spec records over 3,400 events per game and features unique metrics, including Pressures, Pass Height, Pass Footedness, On-Ball Value and more.

浦和レッズは、世界中の100を超えるプロチームに参加し、StatsBomb のコンテキスト化されたイベントデータを活用し、クラブのコーチ、スカウティング、分析業務の充実に役立てます。StatBombのデータスペックには、試合毎に 3400 を超えるイベントが記録され、プレス、パスの高さ、パスの足使い、On-Ball Valueその他を含む独自の指標が備えられています。
