Middlesbrough FC has signed a partnership with StatsBomb to use its advanced performance data and StatsBomb IQ analysis platform.
The deal highlights the team's ambition to strengthen key club departments by utilising deep data and innovative, customisable platforms in its recruitment and performance analysis processes.
As part of the agreement, Middlesbrough FC will access StatsBomb's core dataset, which covers over 3400 events per game and its market-leading Expected Goals (xG) model.
The deep data will also enhance Middlesbrough's ability to analyse team performances. The data contains various insightful metrics, including Pressures by Team and Player, Pass Footedness, Shot Impact Height, and much more.
The Championship side will also benefit from the detailed features in StatsBomb's IQ platform that will allow them to objectively analyse player performance across more than 100 competitions worldwide.
