StatsBomb Sign Renewed Partnership With RKC Waalwijk

RKC Waalwijk has renewed its partnership with StatsBomb, continuing to leverage advanced performance data, StatsBomb 360, and the StatsBomb IQ platform in the Eredivisie.

The Dutch club will continue to benefit from access to StatsBomb’s state-of-the-art analytics platform StatsBomb IQ, which features thousands of match events across 120+ global competitions. StatsBomb IQ can be used to run extensive team and opposition analysis, visualise tactical sequences, and support player recruitment.

As part of the agreement, RKC Waalwijk will continue to access StatsBomb Data, which will strengthen the club’s ability to analyse team performance, as it contains various insightful metrics, including Pass Height, Pressures by Team and Player, On-Ball Value (OBV) and more.

Furthermore, StatsBomb 360 will empower the club to enhance its team, opposition, and performance analysis capabilities by incorporating metrics such as Line-Breaking Passes and Ball Receipts in Space into its workflows. Additionally, access to the 360 Data will facilitate the club's ongoing ability to visualise crucial match actions through the assistance of the 360 Freeze Frame Viewer.

Speaking about the partnership, Mo Allach, Sporting Director at RKC Waalwijk said:

The use of data is integral to our operations at RKC Waalwijk. Over the past years, StatsBomb's data has played an important role in significantly improving our game and player analysis. Therefore, we’re happy to continue our collaboration, leveraging their data to further enhance our performance.

Alexandre Taylor, Soccer Sales Manager, StatsBomb added:

We are delighted to announce the renewal of our partnership with RKC Waalwijk, which will ensure our ongoing support of the club's day-to-day analysis operations. This partnership will also strengthen the club's innovative approach to key aspects of the modern game, including recruitment and performance analysis.
