StatsBomb Sign Renewed Partnership With San Jose Earthquakes

The San Jose Earthquakes have agreed to renew their partnership with StatsBomb. The agreement will see the Earthquakes utilise StatsBomb’s advanced performance data and powerful IQ platform.

As part of the agreement, the American club will continue to access StatsBomb Data - the most detailed and accurate available - and will be able to make data-driven decisions across key areas. The unmatched granularity of StatsBomb’s event data will allow the club to capture detailed insights from the most accurate Expected Goals (xG) model in the industry, and analyse its performances in greater depth.

In addition, the Earthquakes will continue to benefit from access to StatsBomb’s state-of-the art analytics platform StatsBomb IQ, which features thousands of match events across 120+ global competitions.  StatsBomb IQ can be used to run extensive team and opposition analysis, visualise tactical sequences, and support player recruitment.

The combination of StatsBomb Data and the StatsBomb IQ platform will provide support to the daily work of various departments within the club.
